- I-REC is certified renewable energy value of electricity generated from renewable energy source (clean energy);

- It is certified and managed by the I-REC Standard, a non- profit organization;
- I-REC is used in countries and regions that have not a green energy certification system, and is applied to renewable energy consumed in regions such as: Africa, Asia, South America and Middle East, …;
- I-RECs are used to treat grid electricity consumption at factories, offices, and other locations as renewable energy electricity with zero CO2 emissions;
- Many companies, organizations are becoming interested in I-REC as a way to reduce CO2 emissions from electricity at their own sites.

ABOUT TBW AND I-REC BUSINESS ACTIVITY
- Thuan Binh Wind Power Joint Stock Company is one of wind power and solar power investers at Vietnam which have repubtation, have brand and experiences in renewable field, join to construction and commissioning electricity power plants.
- Present, Thuan Binh Wind Power Joint Stock is Employer of 03 projects: Phu Lac Wind Farm - phase 1 (capacity 24MW) and phase 2 (capacity 25,2MW) projects and Loi Hai 2 wind farm project (capacity 28,8MW).
- In that, TBW hasing I-REC business based on electricity volume produced from Phu Lac Wind Farm – Phase 1 (24MW).
- Now, TBW had registered to sell electricity volume transmit to the grid converted into I-REC credits from Phu Lac Wind Farm - phase 1 (capacity 24MW) with IREC Standard organization, until to 01/2023, TBW sold more 130.000 I-RECs to buyers(*).
- Estimated annual, Phu Lac Wind Farm - phase 1 (24MW) produced electricity volume more 60.000 MW, the same TBW can sell to buyer 60.000 I-REC credits every year.
