    Hybrid Solar and Eco system

    To expand the application of solar energy to practical research and production, from 04/11/2017 to 25/04/2017 days, Corporation Binh Thuan Wind Power (EVN TBW) has conducted a survey, designed, installed construction and successfully operated of the grid-connected solar power system at the Phu Lac wind farm’s campus, with a totally installed capacity of 20kWp. The amount of electricity generated to provide for the needs of the entire office and dorm for company staff, automatic garden watering system and part of the electricity used for the power plant by itself.

    Information of designing the solar grid system:

    - Installation capacity: 20kWp (divided into 3 small systems: ground installation and solar power applications in combination with agricultural development);

    - Number of panels: 72 panels, efficiency of the panels above 17%;

    - Electricity production design: 105kWh to 115kWh from / day (corresponding to 5.2 to 5.8kWh / kWp / day);

    - System efficiency: 78%;

    - The system also allows to monitor and access parameters online via the internet;

    - Designing, constructing and operating units: Thuan Binh Wind Power Joint Stock Company;

    The entire grid connected solar power system is divided into 3 small systems:

    1.  System No. 1 (10kWp): Solar power system on natural ground at the project

    Installed on the 400ha natural ground of the Phu Lac Wind Power project, this system combined with actual radiation measurement data from the Monitoring Column at the Phu Lac Project. The reliable data source allowed a more accurate assessment of solar potential in the Project area and the surrounding area. of Binh Thuan province.

    2. System No. 2 (5kWp): Application of solar energy in combination with planting clean vegetables

    The system uses transparent glass solar panels (double glass) installed on the vegetable garden. The effectiveness of this system allows practical applications such as combining power supply for on-site irrigation systems, domestic needs and selling electricity to increase income; Contribute to environmental protection and vegetable cultivation.

    3. System No. 3: Application of solar energy in combination with aquaculture

    The system uses high-performance solar panels mounted on the lake in combination with fish farming. The installation on the water surface helps both increase the efficiency of the solar power system and help the fish grow faster under the heat of the project. The success of the system allows expansion in aquaculture production such as shrimp, fish farming, etc.; is an on-site power source replacing grid electricity or diesel generators for aquaculture.
